We've been so excited for the annual Swan Family Fun Days! The Swans are Loren's mom's side of the family and it's always so fun being with them. This year we stayed close to home as there were new babies in the family. We started on Friday morning at a church with a get to know you activity and brunch.
Next was spending the afternoon at Hyrum Dam. The kids had a total blast!
Lindsay taking Allie, Lydia and Atticus for a paddle board ride.
Hudson loved playing with so many little friends.
This was the highlight for Allie.
Atticus and Lydia were out in these kid kayaks for almost the whole time. We might have to get one now.
After fun in the sun, we headed to a VRBO in Paradise. This place was crazy! There were around 15 themed rooms that could hold up to 50 people. This fairy forest was our room and the kids loved it.
The grounds were massive and kept the kids really happy.
The waterslide was the perfect size for the kids. Hudson loved to go down with Lydia and Allie.
Caught in the act.
Loren and the kids had fun playing pickle ball.
We had an amazing Maddox dinner that night and then I went home to sleep with Jace. Apparently Loren and the kids didn't get a lot of sleep because of the heat. He was a little red-eyed when I came back the next morning. We were planning on playing at the Shenoah campground but it started raining so we opted to hang out in Avon for the day.
The kids had fun with the crafts and activities Kristen brought.
At 5 pm we headed to the barn across the street for dinner, prizes and a program. It was so pretty!
Lindsay made all the food and it was, of course, the best food I've ever eaten.
I dream about this chicken still. She's seriously SO talented and spent so much time prepping and making this for us. How lucky are we??
A huge thank you goes to Grandma Swan for putting it all together and allowing us to make these special memories. She's amazing and we love her and this family so much.
