You remember the balloon from Halloween? Lydia held onto that thing for the next three days, dragging it all over the house with her. Even when it was nothing more than a deflated blob, she lovingly tugged it along. I finally mustered the courage to throw it away during her nap time and thankfully she didn't notice. Who knew that would be such a hit?
Fall has been winding up here in Lexington. Last Sunday we drove up to our friend Jon Tucker's house. He had just finished building his home pretty much by himself and invited us to come see it. It was beautiful and the view made it ten times more so!

I watched my friend, Marissa's kids, who are 2 and 7 months, for awhile one day and it was crazy! I found that I had totally forgot how to deal with a 7 month old baby. Seriously, that was only six months ago for me but it seems like forever! Lydia had a hard time understanding why I kept holding Ainsley and not her. She tried slapping her, pulling her off me and then finally gave in to the fact that Ainsley was sticking around. I guess we still have some work to do in the social scene.
Lydia's favorite place is the piano.
It was such a nice day after church that we decided to take Lydia to Boxerwood. Loren had never been there so I was excited to show him this awesome place. Lydia had a blast playing with daddy!

What a fun, beautiful place!
So Lydia's thing lately is saying, "Oh boy!" It's the cutest thing ever. She has quite the vocabulary now: mommy, daddy, baby, puppy, drink (deen), bye, go, ball, momma for grandma (everytime the phone rings it's "momma!momma!" Not sure what she's going to think when she finds out grandma isn't just a phone), and of course, nanna. She can understand a lot of what we say to her. If I tell her to bring a story over she'll do it. She'll also come to her car seat when I tell her it's time to go. She doesn't like to share her mommy! I have to limit the amount of babysitting I do each week outside of Adeline because she'll have a total meltdown if I'm carrying someone else for awhile.
Lydia gives the best hugs. My favorite time of day is when she just wakes up. I pick her up from her crib and she'll just hug me for a few minutes. We snuggle on the couch until she's ready to go play.
She loves to go grocery shopping with me. She doesn't like to be buckled in the bucket seat of the cart anymore- she'd much rather lounge. I have to be sneaky putting the bananas in the cart, otherwise all I hear is, "nanna!nanna!nanna!" the entire time.
We sure love our little girl. She is everything to us!
We hope you all have a great week. Cant believe its almost Thanksgiving! Time is moving so fast. We love you all!
The cutest pictures I've ever seen in my life!! I'm so exited for you guys to come for the holidays!
