We were finally able to round up some photos of the moot court competition!
Loren and Judge Alito
The four competitors (and me!)
Wednesday night was the ward fall festival, fun times! There was a chili cook-off, costume parade, and trick-or-treating at each classroom. Lydia has been teething all week so she wasn't in the best of spirits. We didn't get a smile out of her but I think she liked seeing all the costumes and fun decorations.
Adeline was a strawberry- she was adorable!
The next day Lydia and I went to a rest home with the mom's club. The kids were all dressed up in their costumes and we visited with the residents. One of the workers called us into a room with a blind man. I was so thankful Lydia let him touch her little face and hands. It was so sweet. Lydia made a lot of people smile and had fun running up and down the halls.
Friday was Halloween! We dressed Lydia up and walked to the shops of downtown for some trick-or-treating. It was a mad house! We originally brought the stroller but took it back because it was impossible to navigate around everyone. It actually worked out better as Lydia was in heaven walking around on her own. She had a blast.
Once Lydia got this balloon, she didn't care about anything else. Halloween was complete!
Thanks for the candy, Lydia! I have a feeling we won't be able to get away with eating all her candy next year. We gave her the toothbrush though :)
She didn't let go of her balloon from the time she got it, to when she went to bed!

Two little girls just chillin'
We took the girls to Boxerwood park this week and Adeline decided to jump in the river. Brrr! Lydia wasn't quite sure what to think. This is her missed my nap/teething face.
Michelle and I took the daughter of one of the sister's we visit teach to play with the girls for the afternoon. It was so funny to see them all squished in the back of my car. I guess its good to know we can fit 3 carseats if we need to!
We had the missionaries over for dinner last night and I always love the spirit they bring. It always makes me want to be better and reach out more.
My relief society calling is keeping me busy. I'm trying to learn all the sister's names and get organized. It's been such a good thing for me though. I'm learning and growing a lot.
We miss you all and love you so much! Hope its a great week for everyone!
