Lydia was baptized on October 9th, 2021 at the Hyrum Stake Center by her dad, Loren. What a special, beautiful morning it was. She was pretty nervous beforehand but it made her happy to see so many family members there to support her. Grandma and Grandpa Rigby, Cam and Mary and their kids, Nate, Em and Tyson and Lucy, Brayden, Todd, Grandma and Grandpa Peck, Chris and Kristen and family, Maddy and Daniel, Landon and Aaron were the family who came. We also were blessed to have Great Grandma and Grandpa's Swan, Peck and Rigby there too. I couldn't stop the tears as she went under and then up out of the water. It makes my heart so happy to see my kids making the choices they are.
Grandma Peck braided Lydia's hair and it looked so beautiful. Mary gave her a beautiful rainbow necklace. A lady in the Paradise ward made her a personalized white towel with the date of her baptism on it.

We went over to my mom's afterwards to play games and visit. Suddenly, someone yelled, "There's a cow in our yard!" Then came the most exciting two hours I've had in a long time. Mary, Em and I watched as everyone else ran around trying to get it back into the pasture. What we weren't counting on was the cow being so fast. That thing could run! It was a bit unnerving as it charged in all the directions it shouldn't. Nate relieved his track days as he sprinted after it around the block. It was probably the funniest thing I've seen. Unfortunately it got past the barricade of boys and started to make its way to the highway. It was starting to get dark by this time and we were terrified of what might happen if it made it to the road. Everyone made a mad dash to their cars and sped in that direction. Apparently Nate was able to spot it and stopped it right before the road. The cow turned around and ran back the other direction. The owners of the cow had been notified and with their help we finally managed to coral it back in the pasture. What an exciting night and not one we'll soon forget.
