Lydia and Allie's Kiwi boxes came. Lydia had a bunch of science experiments and Allie's was about space. So fun!
Loren and Tessa. She's the most chill baby.
Once our house was under contract we set to work taking down the swing set, climbing dome and tramp. Thanks to Brayden for helping! The yard looked so empty afterwards, it made me a little sad.
Last raspberry picking. I'm sure the new owners will be thrilled with the loaded branches.
As it always does, the Fourth of July came with its usual traditions. All of my family was able to be here which made it extra special and fun.
The kids love their Aunt Kiana. Adeline and Lucy are dolls!
A new event this year; uncle racing. Dad had a good head start.
Rigby parade!
Look at this cute bunch! Lucy, Adeline, Hudson, Aunt Em
Max and Hudson were reunited. They are boys through and through.
The kids had a blast on the water slide. That is, until a couple weeks later when they all got Impetigo. It was sweet bliss then.
After a day full of games and fun in the sun, my family went out to Avon for our family pictures. Kristen took them and did amazing as always! We're so happy with how they turned out. I've got a good looking family!
Emily, Tyson and Lucy (5 months)
The next day, Sunday, we kept the party going with a birthday party for our sweet Adeline! She is the most adorable one-year-old you'll ever see. I couldn't handle her party hat.
Because the Fourth landed on a Sunday this year we were able to do the Rigby thing on Saturday and more partying Monday. I took Greyson and the kids to the parade. They got lots of candy! We had a great weekend with family and I was sad to see it end. But excited to get together for our camping trip in August!
Finally the day before closing arrived. We took the kids to the house to say goodbye and clear out the last of our things. I stayed behind after Loren and the kids left to do a bit more cleaning. As I stood there in our empty house all alone, I finally felt the tears that had been threatening for days to come roll down my cheeks. It's not the house I'll miss, but the precious memories. Lucky for me, I can take those with me. This home has been good to us and I truly hope the next family who lives here will also make good memories.
After a huge week, naps were in order.
For Atticus' birthday he wanted to have a Pokemon battle. So we got all the cousins rounded up and they played Pokemon all evening. Lydia won the tournament and was pretty excited. Fun night!
The girls love crafts with Grandma Rigby.
Allie was so, so excited for her birthday. The night before she asked me at 5 pm if she could get her jammies on and go to bed so her birthday would come quicker. After an excruciating wait, her big day finally came! She got an EZ Roller so now she and Lydia can roll around together. She's loved it.
The night before her birthday Loren put together an epic treasure hunt for the girls. They had to solve puzzles and riddles to earn the next clue. At the end they had to unscramble their letters to find out where the treasure (Pokemon cards) was buried. They had so much fun and Allie wanted to do it again after it was done. We told her maybe next year. Later that evening we went to Hyrum Dam. The kids had lot of fun swimming and going out in the kayak with Uncle Chris. It was a wonderful day!
