Allie's been having a lot of fun at preschool the past few weeks.
Mom Peck was given nine garbage bags of clothes from a friend and Kristen and I had a grand old time looking through them. My arms were actually sore afterwards.
Hudson loves his "big cars".
Spring is in the air which means bikes everywhere!
More work on the chair.
Hudson and Max are getting to the point where they interact more with each other in a friendly way. They've come a long ways this past year. Or I should say, Hudson no longer hit's and screams at Max when he touches any of his toys.
We almost forgot about Saint Patricks Day. Loren texted me as we were headed out the door and luckily Lydia was able to change into a green shirt. We stuck a "cutie mark" on Allie's hand and called it good.
We started digging a hole for the sandbox. We had to make our garden bigger to fit all the dirt we dug out. The girls were good helpers. We accidentally dug over a sprinkler pipe and had to move the hole a foot out after cutting a wire. Poor Loren dug A LOT.
Almost done!
Our little Hud Bud turned two! We celebrated with the Pecks a couple days before with charred cupcakes that I made. Luckily there were no tears from this little guy. Thankfully Mom had some brownie mix to save the day. The next day we celebrated with my family. He got a super cool truck book that makes sounds, a trowel for the sandbox and a vehicle puzzle from Grandma and Grandpa. He was thrilled! He also got a tub of 100 animals, a book and a safari truck from us. He was one happy boy. We sure love this little guy. He's been my cuddliest kid and I can't get enough of his snuggles.
Todd won FIRST place at the Cache Box Invite in the 100 meter dash. So proud of him! The guy next to him had beat him two times before so it was a sweet victory.
Loren had a jam session with the Young Men. We definitely have enough Uke's and guitar's to go around.
Last Saturday the girls wanted to spend their money at the Fun Park. Lydia chose to go bowling and Allie roller skating. It was their first time at both activities and we had so much fun. Lydia and Dad tied with a score of 112. She even got a strike!
Allie was pretty wobbly at first but by the end was doing a lot better. It was hard to get her off the rink.
Afterwards we stopped at Royal Express for lunch. What a fun morning with our girls!
After a lot of digging, Chris came over and helped put the railroad ties in. Our box will be nine inches deeper with them. They were really heavy though.
We went over last night and had a cookout with Chris, Kristen, and Mom and Dad. The boys put in Chris's railroad ties and dug his hole out a bit more.
I took the kids home and a few minutes later the boys came with the box! They installed it at 9 pm in the dark and I was afraid someone was going to trip on something and break their leg. Thankfully no injuries were incurred and our box is now in place! It looks so great! Now we just need sand and we'll be all set. So grateful for Chris, Dad and Landon's help. It was a JOB carrying it into the yard. The kids will be so excited.
