Hudson is two months old! The days have been long but then I also can't believe he's ten weeks old. I sure love this smile.
Last Saturday we took our first family walk on the Logan River trail. The girls loved throwing rocks in the river and Hudson sort of loved chilling in the stroller.
Octopus hair takes me back to my childhood. I always loved the way my hair looked after taking out all the braids. This was the girls' first time and Lydia asked if she could wear octopus hair every day.
There's never been a Memorial Day breakfast that hasn't been sunny and warm. I guess the odds finally caught up to us this year. It was rainy and cold but that didn't stop the Swans from getting together. We bundled up Hudson till he couldn't move and braved the cold for some delicious pancakes, bacon, sausage and fruit. It was worth it!
A little later my mom and I visited Kaleb's grave. We sure love our boy. It was beautiful at the cemetery with all the flowers.
Later that evening we went to Brendan's grave with the Davidson's. I'm so glad we did this. We haven't in the past but I want to make it a tradition now because I feel it's very important to make time to remember our family. I want the girls to know we still carry them with us in our hearts everyday.
I sure love where we live! The girls have been playing with the little neighbor kids all day every day this week. It reminds me of my childhood playing with my best friend, Carly almost everyday. We made so many wonderful memories and I can see Lydia and Allie making the same with Lindy, Alise and MJ. Alise is 7, Lindy is 6, Lydia is 5, MJ is 4 and Allie is 3. Lydia finally braved riding her bike without training wheels because she wanted to be like her friends. I think it's going to be a fun summer!
I finally was able to get a frame for Brendan's picture. I sure love these two boys.
Brayden graduated high school! I sure feel old. So proud of everything he's accomplished this year. We're waiting for his mission call and hopefully he get's it next week. Can't wait to see what the future holds for him.
The past couple days have been rough with this one. He's been extra fussy for some reason. Good thing he's got that adorable smile to get me through.
We're excited to be starting summer!
