Loren and his mom have been working on Loren's mission books for months now. It's been a huge project and they've both spent late nights and early mornings trying to put it together. There's going to be two volumes and last week the first one came in the mail! It looks so great and will be such a treasure for our kids. We can't wait to show it to everyone and let you read about his amazing experiences. A huge thank you goes to mom peck for all the hard work she put into it!
Last Sunday we went to dinner at the schnieters. They are such a fun family and we love spending time with them. Their daughter has a nine month old son and the first thing he did when we got over there was give Lydia a big slap on the face. Needless to say, she didn't think that was the best way to say hello.
Thursday night another family, the Larsons, had us over for dinner. We are so spoiled! There are truly the most wonderful people out here. So willing to give and so thoughtful. We are growing to love our ward and the amazing people in it. I love my calling in the primary, those kids are so precious.
On Friday we were getting a little stir crazy from being cooped up in the house so we decided- 40 degree weather or not- we were going on a walk! I pulled out Lydia's snow suit, hat and gloves and bundled her up till she couldn't move.
She didn't quite know what to think of the big world outside the house. It was nice though and I'm excited to take her out more when it warms up a little more.
Lately Loren and I do a p90x workout every other night. We put Lydia in her chair and she's quite entertained watching us huff and puff. Well one night she decided to join in!
This girl loves her toes. She'll even chew through her Jammie's to get to them!
This was her Sunday dress. She had more fun eating it than anything.
Saturday night our ward had a valentines dinner and dance. It was so fun and the food was great! We sat by our friends the Crowthers and Ellsworth's. They are both young couples with a little one. We had fun talking about our kids and law school.
We are really enjoying everyday being together. I love our little Lyddie and how she's growing everyday. We miss you all and hope you have the greatest week!
