Well we've had a full week here at the Peck house. It's hard to know where to start!
Sleep is a bit of a rare commodity these days. Ever since Lydia turned 3.5 months old, she's been waking up every two or three hours at night. This week was especially bad and I'm pretty sure it's because of teething. One night she woke up every hour for four hours. I hope those teeth are worth it!
She's been trying hard to sit up this week. When she's on her back, she'll lift her head and legs off the floor and just hold them in the air. I now know why she's skinnier than all the other babies her age- she's doing ab workouts like all day long!
Lydia's also been talking/ singing a lot more. In fact, today in church the primary chorister told the kids that Lydia was singing louder than them all. It was a true fact. I find it amazing how long she can hold out "lalala" with one breath. It's so fun to see her personality coming out more every day.
Thursday was a historic day for Lexington. We had the biggest snow storm on record in the past five years. It snowed 15 inches in just one day! Needless to say, school was cancelled and we enjoyed our second snow day this semester. Loren shoveled snow for four hours so it was a little less of a party day for him. He had some really nice looking biceps after though!

This is one of Lydia's new favorite toys- after her ladybug of course. She shows it lots of drooly love.
Saturday was taco soup and breadstick day. We tried a new cornbread pull-apart breadstick recipe and it turned out amazing! We shall now be making them everyday.
Friday we went to Ruby Tuesday for lunch to celebrate valentines day. It was good food and Lydia won the heart of the lady in the next booth over. Those eyelashes get them every time :) I have a feeling they're going to be a blessing and a curse.
Loren stayed busy with school this week. He's able to come home and study more and it's been so nice to have him close. I sure love him! Lydia is getting her shots tomorrow and I'm really dreading them. Fingers are crossed that they won't be anything like her last ones.
It's hard to believe February is almost over. Spring is in the air here as it's supposed to be in the 50s this week. Hooray! We hope Aaron had a great birthday yesterday and are so happy he's one, two, three, four!
We love you all and hope you have an amazing week!
