June has come and gone so fast. Because Lydia had girls camp we weren't able to do the Children's Theatre this year. Instead I signed the kids up for a track club every Tuesday and Thursday morning. They ran all the different events and even practiced long jumping and throwing. They had a lot of fun and it was a nice change.
Lydia had her first girls camp at the Teton's. She had a blast! They hiked, rode in wagons to dinner at a barn and crafted for hours. It rained a lot but that didn't stop her from having a wonderful time. I'm very grateful for good leaders and kind girls. It was a long week without Lydia, I was quite ready to see her when she came home but glad she was able to make those memories and bond more with the girls.
Here's a few photos she took on her camera.
While Lydia was gone my mom and I took the kids and Lucy to Zootah. We were pretty underwhelmed at the variety of animals, it's basically just a duck zoo but still kept the kids entertained.
Cute Lucy! Em had just had her baby, Annie.
More photos from Lydia's camera. It's fun to see things from her point of view.
Snuggling with Grandpa. Love this photo!
We had Addy and Greyson for a few days and had a blast. My mom came with us to Hogle Zoo, which was much more exciting than Zootah.
Addy was waiting by the window for Lucy to come.
Our voice teacher, Ms Brittany, gave the girls an opportunity to sing the Star Spangled Banner at a Tball game. They did so well! They even did some harmonizing. I was so proud.
We've had so many peas this year! Loren told Allie he'd pay her for every bag she picked. She's been a pea picking machine.
We celebrated Brendan's 21st birthday with the usual pizza, sparklers and frosty's. It's so good to be together and remember him.
