I was able to take Allie to Ethan Gleed's baptism. It was fun to see her other cute school and church friends there.
Jace and I went with Maddy and Kai to the Pumpkin Walk. There were some really creative scenes this year.
This was Jace's favorite. He loves Bluey!
Loren took the kids to their school STEM night and they had a blast. Hudson especially loved the remote control balls.
Our berry patch is coming along! We finally got all our plants in with the drip system connected. We had gravel delivered for the shed on the west side. The last thing we have is the wood chips and we'll get to those in the spring. So exciting!
Lydia's absolute favorite thing is going rock hounding with Grandpa and dad. This year Grandpa took his motorcycles and she had so much fun learning how to ride.
Ready to ride!
We're so grateful that Grandpa will take the time to effort to make these memories with Lydia. She looks forward to it so much and it's fun to see her grow and learn new things.
While Lydia and Loren were gone, I took the kids to Grandma's Halloween party. We met up with cute fairy Lucy too. There was a ton of people there but the kids got a bunch of candy and got to see Grandma with her spider. It was a fun night.
Our annual Halloween dinner came complete with mummy dogs, witch's brew, goblin mouths and worms in the dirt. Lydia helped with dinner this year which was really nice. It turned out delicious!
Honestly, I'm not a fan of Halloween. Trying to figure out costumes for the kids and the endless amount of candy make it stressful and exhausting. But it always works out and the kids looked great. Grandma Peck found dresses for Lydia and Allie and they were perfect. Lydia was a victorian noble complete with a parasol. Allie was the cutest pioneer girl and Hudson changed his costume last minute to Ironman. Jace hated the lion costume but when I told him he'd get candy if he got it on, he tolerated it.
It's always fun to watch the kids' school Halloween parade. There's some pretty create costumes.
Peck Halloween party. Kids are growing up!
The kids school photos turned out so cute!
We put up our tree this week! Jace rearranges it six times a day. It was fun to decorate with the kids. Lydia especially loves to thoughtfully consider where each decoration should go. I love it.
Hudson bought this airplane with his own money.
This past week was Veterans Day and I was able to think about my Grandpa Rigby. He served in the army and fought in the Korean War. I sure miss him.
My cousin, Becky told me about story time at the American West Heritage Center. Jace and I went with them and had a great time. Can't wait to keep coming back and it was great to catch up with Becky.
