Allie's art was chosen to be displayed at the children's art museum at USU. We're proud of our girl!
Allie put all these hearts on our door. We have the sweetest kids.
We've had a few nice, sunny days so far. We took advantage of one by trying to melt ice chunks.
Love snuggling my baby.
This boy has his sisters wrapped around his finger.
Yay for sun!
Last week Hudson turned five! Hudson is one of the most sensitive boys you'll meet. He says the cutest things and always makes us laugh. He adds so much to our family and we're so grateful to have him! I love being his mom.
He and Lydia enjoyed the legos he got from Chris and Kristen.
Five year old birthdays are the best. He got a new ezyroller, airplane toy and some new Yoto cards. After breakfast we went to the church parking lot to try out his new ezyroller. He's definitely more cautious than the girls but he'll get the hang of it. We had our traditional birthday lunch of sandwich bears!
After that we went to Ryan's Place Park and let the kids play. It was so nice to be outside and we loved having our picnic near the park. It was such a fun evening together and I found myself feeling so grateful for my sweet family. Being a mom is so hard but lately I've been enjoying the ordinary days. I know it won't always be like this and so I'm trying to be more present in these moments.
Stopping for donuts on the way home from the park was the perfect way to end the day. We love Hudson so much and hope he could feel that.
We had another party at my mom's celebrating Hudson and Easter. Lucy was SO excited about Hudson's birthday. It was so cute to see. The kids had fun looking for eggs and we had a lovely Easter dinner together.
Hudson is still loving preschool.
He and Max are best buds!
His favorite day of the week is Wednesday when we have a "playover" at Max's house after school. I love eating and chatting with Liz and Ang and Hudson get's to play with all of Max's toys that are off limits during school time. Fun times!
Hudson got some new Brain Bots Dinosaur Yoto cards for his birthday and all the kids love them. Hudson listens to them for hours everyday and tells me of all the random facts he learned about Dinos. I keep thinking he'll get sick of them but hasn't yet. We LOVE our Yoto player! Allie wrote down some facts she learned about dinosaurs from the Brain Bots. So cute!
Hudson has been playing with dinosaurs a lot more lately. Maybe we hit a new phase? That would definitely be different. It's so fun to see the kids grow and change. We're getting excited for Spring Break next week! I hope we have some sun so we can get outside. I guess we'll see!
