We love our visits with Grandma so much!
Grandpa Peck was so kind to plan a rock hounding trip for Loren, Lydia, Chris and Atticus during Fall Break. While they were gone the kids and I had our own fun. I tried face paint for the first time. I found that it's harder than it looks, haha.
Kristen and I took the kids to Whispering Canyon for a fun kids day. They rode horses and a fun train ride. The driver even made Kristen and I ride at the end. It was a great afternoon!
We also went on a hike up at Third Dam. It was so nice to soak in all the fall goodness.
Lydia has been wanting to go rock hounding for months now. She's been dreaming about all the fun of finding her own Agate and Jasper. Grandpa Peck finally made it happen over fall break and Lydia could not have been more excited. Loren joked about the trip being a bit of a step up from when he went as a kid. The Sprinter van isn't exactly roughing it anymore and they were completely spoiled with amazing food and fun snacks. Lydia wrote in her journal everyday about the adventures they had. She loved riding the motorcycle with grandpa and following him around finding the rocks. It was a dream come true and we're so grateful for Grandpa in making it a core memory for her.
They even saw a solar eclipse!
My parents put on a fall festival and it was so fun! The kids had a blast dressing up in their costumes and playing the games.
What fun is the fishing game!
The kids' first time bobbing for apples. It was quite entertaining to watch.
Nate took this cute picture of Jace watching the horses.
We also went up Blacksmith Fork Canyon and enjoyed the fall vibe.
We had a fun Halloween party with Grandma. There were games, prizes and trick or treating. We sure love her! It's not Halloween without Grandma's spider.
We had our annual Halloween dinner with Brayden. We had mummy's mouths, witches brew and worms in the dirt.
The girls had their school Halloween parade. Lydia was Pocahontas.
Allie was Princess Peach.
Our traditional Halloween party was complete with trick or treating and cake and ice cream for Maddy and Landon. It was a fun, full day!
