Oh how we love July! We've been having such a fun month. The girls have outgrown our water table but I still wanted a place where they could keep being creative. I saw a picture of a PVC water table online and thought it was just what we needed. I took all the kids with me to Home Depot to get the supplies. It was exciting to say the least. Lydia tried to manage a cartful of kids with one arm while I tried not to stab anyone or knock things over with four 10' poles of pvc. It was worth it though, and I'm so excited with how it turned out!
Another Fourth of July has come and gone. I only took two pictures! I guess I was in the moment. We went to the Rigby breakfast and then the parade. After that was a delicious lunch at Grandma Swan's. Then we went back for water slides, snow cones and games with the Rigby's. Em and Tyson and Nate and Kiana were there this year along with my parents. It was such a fun day!
It's been so fun getting together for tennis lessons on Mondays and swim lessons with the Swan cousins on Wednesdays. We even fit in a cousin fun day here and there. We had an epic water party out in Avon the other day. Summer with cousins is the best!

Allie's birthday finally arrived! It was so hard to wait and some days she felt like it would never come. But come it did and she was so excited. She loved her new camera and stuffies. Can't believe she's already seven!
Hudson was excited about his new police car.
The best part of Allie's day was hanging out with Grandma and Grandpa Rigby. They painted, opened presents and did fun activities at their house. Then they went to Burger King and hung out at Second Dam for awhile. Allie loved the one-on-one time. I feel it's hard sometimes to spread myself out evenly among the kids. Allie's definitely one that can get lost in the shuffle occasionally so I was grateful she got some extra love.
Chris, Kristen and their kids stopped by in the afternoon so we ended the day with sprinklers and cake and ice cream. I think she had a great day. I'm so grateful for my sweet girl and couldn't even imagine our family without her.
Lego day! The kids made some cool creations.
Lydia's read SO many books this summer. If we can't find Lydia she's usually on the couch or in her room reading.
The other night Loren took the kids to play tennis with his family. I was at Em's watching Anne of Green Gables. In the middle of the movie I got a call from a panicked Loren saying that Hudson hit his head and he needed me right now. Luckily I was just around the corner so I got there really fast. We're not sure how he didn't see that big metal bar but he smacked his face right into it, flipped upside down and landed on his head. He started bleeding out his nose and back on his head. It was pretty traumatic to watch and Loren thought for sure he had, at the very least, a concussion. Loren's uncles and aunts looked him over and thought we'd be ok to not go in to the hospital but just keep an eye on him. Thankfully he bounced back really fast and was his normal, chatty self in the morning. We couldn't believe it and were so grateful. It's always an adventure with these kids.
After one week in a splint and three weeks in a cast, Lydia finally took her cast off! She said it felt really weird and had a hard time using her left hand for awhile.
My baby turned one! How we love our sweet squish, Jace! He is pure joy and when he starts sleeping through the night will be perfect. Haha, seriously though, can't wait for that day. I'm in the process of weaning him so that will probably help. Hopefully. We went to Hyrum Dam with the Pecks and had a blast. Jace loved the water! We had a mishap when Aaron got his foot stuck in a chair and we thought he may have broken it. Luckily he recovered and was doing much better the next day. Aaron's a crazy tough kid.
