We've been loving these beautiful fall days. They've been so dreamy. Jace is three months now and is sleeping usually five hours at night. The days have become a little easier as he's grown. I've been taking him to a massage therapist everyday for the past two weeks to work on his torticollis and it's really been helping. Hopefully we'll avoid having to use a helmet.
Jace's two month picture!
Lydia has really been into baking and cooking lately. She made us some S'more fondue the other night that was delicious!
I haven't had the energy to let Lydia dirty the kitchen so Grandma Rigby was super sweet in letting the girls come and bake three different kinds of muffins at her house. I took this picture right as Lydia was stealing some chocolate chips. Caught in the act!
They turned out so yummy! Hudson approved.
I have no idea what got into me but I ended up buying a General Conference bundle of activities for the kids this year. It was SO much work to put together but I think they enjoyed it. There was a different activity for each Apostle and I think it helped them be excited for the speakers rather than ask how much longer we had.
Lydia's birthday was on Monday this year. Her first time going to school on her birthday. She had a great day with French Toast for breakfast and Shepherds Pie for dinner. She's definitely my daughter because she wanted brownies for dessert. I can't believe we have a nine year old. Lydia is so much fun! I truly love to be with her and just talk with her. She's so good to help with her siblings and has a happy attitude. The kids don't know what to do with themselves when she's gone but as soon as she's back they're all playing together. How grateful I am to have her in our family! Grandma Rigby, Nate and Todd stopped by to wish her a happy birthday.
Lydia begged for a friend party this year so we gave in. We had it at the Jump Zone and it turned out to be a blast. She had eleven friends come and they had fun jumping, eating pizza and cupcakes and opening presents. Lydia loves stuffed animals and one of her friends gave her a huge stuffed dinosaur. She hardly goes anywhere without "Dynomite" now. She loved every minute of it and said it was her best birthday party yet.
Allie wrote this the other day. So cute! "In fall I jump in leaves"
The boys and I love our walks in the mornings. Well, Hudson and I do. Jace just tolerates them.
Look at those squishy cheeks! I'm obsessed with them.
The next weekend was fun with Cam and Adeline. We went on a hike up at Third Dam. Being out in nature is so good for my soul. Jace did great in the new carrier we got for him.
Todd got his mission call to Sydney Australia! He leaves February 20th. It seems like a long ways away but I'm sure it will be here before we know it. He's going to do so amazing but my heart hurts a bit thinking of him leaving us.
Loren has been incredibly busy with work this month. It's been a little hard because I feel like we're in different worlds. He's doing such a great job with his depositions though and I'm very proud of him. I'm grateful for how hard he works for us.
