Allie was really nervous for her first day of Kindergarten. When I took her into her classroom she started tearing up. As I went to leave she was full on bawling, which of course made me high-tail it out of there so she wouldn't see me bawling. If I really think about it, dropping her off for three hours a day really isn't that big of a deal but I never fail to lose it after dropping them off. I guess it's worse when your baby girl is crying too. I worried about her the entire time she was gone. When I picked her up she ran to the car with a big smile on her face and greeted me with an enthusiastic, "Hi mom! I had a great day!" Needless to say, that was the worst day and everyday since has been a lot better. I'm excited to see how she'll grow this year. She has a new teacher and her classroom is in a portable since the school is over capacity with students. I wonder how long it will take to build another school in Nibley.
Another Trout and Berry Days came and went. Hudson tried to catch a fish this time. They were slippery!
Allie wouldn't get in the pool so it was harder for her to get one. She's in the light blue shirt. There's so many kids now they usually have two groups of the same age.
Lydia wasn't afraid to get in there.
Yay for Atticus and Lydia!
We were able to attend Atticus' baptism and it was so special. The water accidentally drained out so he had to go under a few times. He was especially clean! We're so proud of him and love him lots.
The next day on Sunday September 4th, we blessed Jace at my parent's home. He was seven weeks old. It was actually really nice to have it in a more intimate setting. He looked adorable in the tux that Aaron wore when he was blessed.
My big brother, Cam and I.

This is going to have to be our family picture for the year.
Cute cousins!
Allison (6), Lucy (18 months), Greyson (8), Lydia (8), Jason (7 weeks), Hudson (3), and Adeline (2)
Loren gave a beautiful blessing. We were so grateful for all the family who came to support us. Family is everything.
The kids put on a puppet show. So fun to see their creativity!
Jace is now two months old! He came down with the cold and was pretty sick for about a week. When he coughed his congestion was so bad he couldn't breathe. It was pretty scary sometimes. After one particularly hard night I called to schedule an appointment with our pediatrician. They were all booked for the day and told me to call the following morning. I was pretty frustrated until Loren reminded me he'd done some work for a bunch of pediatricians and was sure one of them would see us. Dr Bell had us right in and spent a lot of time making sure Jace was ok. He's finally feeling better now and I've never been more grateful for a healthy baby. He's giving us six hour stretches of sleep at night now which is glorious. We'll take it however long it will last.
At his two month appointment we found out he'll be needing an ultrasound done to make sure his hips are developing normally. Sometimes breech babies have problems so we'll find out in a couple days how he's looking.
We love walking/biking around Firefly park. The days have been cooler and we've enjoyed being outside in the evenings.
After a walk with my mom this morning the boys had bonding time.
We're excited for Fall!
