Six Years

Lydia turned six years old! Where has the time gone? I got a bit nostalgic this week and started looking at pictures of her as a baby and toddler. Boy, we had some rough times. I remember wondering to myself after one of Lydia's massive tantrums if she would ever grow out of them. I'm happy to confirm that she has! Not only that, but she's grown into the most fun, funny, sweet and kind little girl a mom could ask for. I truly love spending every day with her and seeing her grow and accomplish new things. She has such a kind heart and is quite possibly the most popular kid in her Kindergarten class. I'm so glad I get to celebrate all her birthdays for forever!       Lydia's new obsession is a show called PJ Masks. It's about three kids who turn into superheros and fight crime. She was thrilled with the PJ Masks costumes she got!   These pictures are a little dark but we went to Great Harvest and got a sandwich and cookie for lunch. ...

Fall is Here

Fall is definitely here! I feel like it came overnight. One day it was 90 degrees and the next it was 60. I guess that's how it goes here in Cache Valley. A couple weeks ago I took the kids to watch Todd run his race at USU. Getting there was a bit comical. I had to check Lydia out from school early and drug Allie and Hudson to and from the school in the pouring rain. I figured it wouldn't last long though so I drove up to campus. When I tried to park, I was told it cost $5. I didn't have any cash and the guy taking the money was less than sympathetic. So I drove around for like ten more minutes trying to find a spot on the street. I settled for a gas station about a half mile away and prayed I wouldn't get towed. I pulled all the kids out with their jackets, blankets, snacks, water, diaper bag, chew toys and umbrellas and stuffed it all in the stroller. I then started the half mile sprint in the rain to the starting line, afraid after all that, I would miss Todd...
