There's nothing quite like Allie's bodacious hair in the mornings.
Bottoms up!
Lydia started a soccer program called SuperStart. I guess they don't have recreational soccer for 3 or 4 year olds in Nibley so they have this program instead. They rotate through different stations and learn the fundamentals of the game in a fun way. I actually really like it and Lydia's been having a blast. She loved trying to knock over the Minions.
Such a cute little team!
This is Lydia's favorite princess dress as of late. She loves to be Elsa and swoosh her cape.
I've been in a major dinner slump lately and make the same things over and over. I pulled out this book the other day and marked up all the recipe's I want to try. I've already tried a few and have loved how they turned out. This is becoming my all time favorite cookbook.
Aaron was baptized on March 3rd at the Hyrum Stake Center. It was a special day with family. I can't believe how fast he's growing up.
Lydia earned all her pennies and chose to get ice cream. Yum!
Lindsay made this incredible cake for Dad's birthday. It was my favorite one yet. This girl has serious skill.

Chris made this awesome print of a fish they caught in Alaska. Way cool gift!

Lydia's really into coloring and drawing right now. She's spent so much time on her "map" and is really proud of it. I have to say, I'm pretty impressed too!
Family game night! Allie loves her Grandpa.
Last weekend Little Wonders preschool put on an Easter egg hunt and other activities. The girls had fun coloring, playing on the slides and finding eggs. We saw my cousin Liz and her boys there too and it was fun to play with them.
One day after my Refit workout class, Liz told me about Baby Animals days on the Quad on USU's campus. So we took the kids and went to check it out. Lydia was amazed at all the big buildings and the bell in Old Main Tower. There weren't a lot of animals but they had baby chicks, ducks a few goats and miniature horse. Lydia loved the baby chicks the best and couldn't get enough of stroking their soft feathers. Allie loved to poke their eyes.
Lindsay and Brayden's first track meet of the season was last Wednesday. Lindsay took first place and scored a personal record in the discus and Brayden took first in his 100 dash heat! To say I was a proud sister is an understatement. Can't wait to see how the rest of the season turns out. Brayd will have to run slower so I can get a decent picture of him.
Last Saturday we went to the Nibley City Egg Run and Hopsticle course. The kids were divided into age groups and then chased the Easter Bunny through the obstacle course and then got Easter Eggs at the end. Allie was a little dazed with all the kids, screaming and chaos of it all but she was thrilled to get her eggs!
Lydia's little friend, Lizzy was there too and they held hands through the whole course. It was pretty much adorable.
Nice job, Aaron!
After the kid races the mile and 5k races began. Aaron and Landon ran the mile and did fantastic.
I accidentally won a free pass into the 5k race so I felt like I had to run in it. There was a prize for the first stroller runner so I convinced Lydia to hop in and race with me. It was rainy and freezing but Lydia was a trooper and a great cheerleader. Occasionally I would hear, "You're running fast, Mom!" and "Keep it up, Mom! You're doing a great job!" What a sweetheart. Although we didn't win the prize, I'm glad I did it. It lit a little running spark inside me that's been hiding for a long time. I might start training for the Freedom Run in July but we'll see how it goes.
When the Ensure starts appearing you know it's time for trial. Dad's big SAE Trial started Monday of last week. He did so well that the other side decided to settle the second day of trial! I was lucky enough to go to lunch and meet the clients I've heard so much about. Apparently this case has been going on for seven years. Incredible! We're all grateful it's done and now Dad can put a few pounds back on and relax. Loren was so proud of his Dad. He's truly one of the best.
