The big news this week is that Loren passed the Bar Exam! The results came sooner than we thought so we weren't really prepared to take it in. I was at the post office when Loren texted me he had the results. When I came home the girls were tired and hungry. We had to open the results right then to tell his family who was getting ready to board a plane. It wasn't really the exciting party I had anticipated us having, but I guess it doesn't matter because he passed! We're so grateful, it's a huge relief. Now we can move forward and never have to think of it again.
Allie started crawling this week! Well, more like scooting. And backwards not forwards. But we'll take it! She was so proud of herself and was giggling and smiling the whole time. Now I really have to get serious about finding some baby gates.
Lydia had her first soccer practice. It was FREEZING but fun. She hasn't really got the whole aggressive thing down yet. When she has the ball, it's her turn and don't you dare try and take her ball. So we'll see how it goes. She loved her new jersey and socks.
Allie got her helmet off this week! Hooray! She got a fancy certificate of completion and I got a free facial, win-win. We couldn't be happier to be done with that thing.
Loren was able to take Thursday off of work so we decided to check out This is the Place Park. They were having baby animal days so it was pretty crowded but all in all, a great time. I think if Lydia had been a few years older we could have learned more inside the buildings. All she wanted to do was ride the trains and horses so that's what we did.
I stood in line for a good 40 minutes for this horse ride. Was it worth it? I'm not sure, but Lydia sure had a blast with Chip.
Allie's face is too much.
We must have rode on four different trains. Lydia was in heaven!
This weekend was spent in Hyrum and Avon. Saturday we helped my parents with the house. It's almost ready to put on the market. They've done SO much work. I think they're going to need a month vacation in Hawaii after all this.
Sunday we went to church in Avon and got to sit in Mom and Dad's Sunday school class. They teach the 15 and 16 year olds too. It gave me some great ideas for my class.
These three kids are pretty cute! It's a feat getting them all to look at the camera at the same time.
We went to Rachel's Junior clarinet concert that evening. Man, this girl is so talented and worked so hard for her performance. Her program was around 40 minutes long. That's 40 minutes of clarinet playing! Apparently she had to practice her program everyday to work on her endurance. It was beautiful and we're all so proud.
What a fun week! Here's to the next!
