It's hard to believe we've been in Cache Valley for two weeks now. So much has been happening. It's been so good to catch up with and be with our families.
Last week Loren and I were able to hang out with Charlie for the day while he had his radiation treatment. Charlie had been talking about wanting to donate an air hockey table to the game room at Primary Children's Hospital since theirs had broke. With help from very generous family and friends, he was able to donate a top of the line table. It even plays the national anthem when you turn it on! It was so special and I'm so glad we were able to be there to see it. Charlie amazes me with his concern for others and giving nature.
After radiation and some fantastic lunch at Costa Vida, we hung out at Sheldon's in Farmington for awhile. It was so fun to be together.
Loren drew this on his dad's iPad in two days! I had no idea he was so artistic. I think he's found a fun new hobby.
My brother, Brayden had a swim meet in freezing cold rain. We cheered him on and silently cheered to ourselves that it wasn't us swimming.
We went to the zoo the other day and Lydia loved seeing all the animals.
Cute cousins, Atticus and Lydia
Loren's been studying hard for the bar. Quite honestly, we've hardly seen him since we got here. He'll start at 8 a.m. and come home around 6:30. Even when he's home he's taking a quiz or reviewing. Guess we're not out of the woods quite yet. We're trying to find balance as we adjust to our new routines and schedules. I know as soon as we do it will be time for the baby and time to move again. But that's what life is all about, adapting to changes and moving forward as best we can. We'll certainly try our best.
