Fireworks and Birthdays

  Brendan is 11 years old! We started out his birthday by going rock climbing. This boy is a little mountain goat! He wasn't afraid of anything and just scurried up the rock in less time than it took me to get my harness on. There's no doubt there will be rock climbing in his future. I actually made it to the top!  What a fun time!   We also went bowling with the fam, then came home for cake and ice cream. Thanks for having a birthday, Charlie!    A couple days after Brendan's birthday was the 4th of July, my favorite holiday! We started out the day at our annual breakfast with the Rigby's. This year we were in the backyard instead of the cul-a-sac to beat the heat. Pancakes, hash browns and sausage were all on the menu. Yum! Family: The Center of Our World

    Loren has discovered a new favorite hobby: rock climbing! He and Sarah go quite often, and he loves the challenge and thrill it brings. They talked me into going once and I was amazed at how good they were, just scaling the rock like it was nothing.  Sarah Loren  Look how high I am! Ha, not really.
