We had the strangest weather last night. All of the sudden it started blowing so hard I thought our roof was going to fly off. That was followed by a blizzard and then an intense cold front. When we woke up this morning we got an email saying that church was cancelled due to the cold temperatures. I must say, it was kind of nice not to have to chase a tired Lydia all over the place. It's been so nice to be together today. We've stayed mostly by heaters and swaddled in blankets. I guess it's still winter here.
Lydia has become quite attached to her blanket. She won't even eat her breakfast without it close by.
This was so funny. Lydia tried to get all her stuffed animals on the couch with her. She couldn't get all of them but managed at least her favorites. From left to right: Sally, Horsey, Puppy and Puppy.
Our favorite place to be outside is Boxerwood! It was close to 60 degrees last Sunday so we had to venture out. We met our good friends the Lee's there too and had fun visiting with them.

These two girls are so funny together! We always look forward to time with Adeline.
We had a wonderful Valentines day. This is the amazing candy bouquet Loren made for me! How creative is that? I loved it.
He also stuck post-it notes all around the house with little saying's on them. They made my day! I'm so lucky to have Loren and love him so much.
I have no idea why we didn't wait to take this after we had showered and got ready but... oh well. Here's our Valentines day selfie.
Friday night we were able to go to our ward's valentines day dinner and dance. It was so fun! The gym was decorated beautifully and we had an amazing homemade lasagne dinner with rolls, salad and dessert. There was also a dessert auction which is the only fundraiser the youth do every year. Loren and I decided our limit was $10. Apparently not everyone is poor students because we couldn't afford anything! There was a cake that sold for $65! Crazy sauce. Our friend Annie, who is a 1L and has a girl Lydia's age, watched Lydia for us so we could go to the dinner. This is what Lydia made for us while we were gone. So cute!
Lydia and I having a movie night. Tangled is now one of her favorites. I love snuggling with my baby!
Loren had a crazy busy week getting one of his final drafts of his note ready. I'm excited to read it when he's done-he's come up with some really interesting thoughts and has put so much time and research into it. I'm so proud of the good work he's doing.
We hope you all have a wonderful week! We love you so much and are grateful for your support and love!
