Thankful

  The first week of November was so nice! We took advantage of the great weather and took a beautiful walk on the nature trail.    Our little buddy is eight months old and, wow, is getting into everything! He's officially crawling and I'm constantly trying to keep him from grabbing cords, outlets, the Christmas tree and from stuffing coins and Legos in his mouth. Whew. He's a busy boy! He's constantly on the go and I feel completely exhausted at the end of the day. He's always kicking his legs, especially when he gets excited. It's pretty hilarious. He sure brings a lot of fun into our home.    We had enough leaves in our yard this year to bury the girls in.   Uke time!   The other day I was driving home from picking up Lydia from school. I was almost home when I saw a bunch of cars blocking the road. I was annoyed at first then I looked over and saw a SWAT guy pointing a gun in a house. I quickly backed up and got ...

Wrapping up October

  Grandma Peck got Lydia a science box subscription for her birthday. The first one came the other day and she and Loren had a blast putting together her claw arcade!    Todd finished up his cross country season at region. He did so well and has improved so much since his first race. Now he starts swimming and we're excited to see how he does.    One of our favorite traditions of October is the Pumpkin Walk! There wasn't near as many people as there was last year, probably because of the abnormally cold weather. It was so cute!   My favorite was Rafiki holding a baby squash Simba.     A couple Saturday's ago we took a bunch of stuff to the dump. When Loren was younger his dad would always take them to get ice cream after a trip to the dump so we decided to take the kids to experience their first after-dump treat.   Hudson is seven months!
