The Piano Guys and Valentines' Fun

Lydia was so excited last week when she came home with a volcano from preschool. She loved watching it explode after adding the vinegar to the baking soda. Fun experiment!    Loren and I haven't gone anywhere just the two of us since before Lydia was born.  I was shocked when Loren surprised me with two Piano Guys concert tickets for our anniversary/Valentines day! So we left the girls with our parents and made our first ever weekend get-away. On our way down to Cedar City, Loren started to get a headache and sore throat. One Hundred Years and Counting

Last Monday Daddy decided to make cookies for FHE. He had two great little helpers!   Last week was Brayden's Region swim meet.  Loren and I were able to watch his 50 and 100 yard freestyle.  He did so great! A new PR for the year and qualified for State.  In the photo he's the third from the right, blue speed suit and grey cap.  Check out his abs! He is one ripped swimmer.  We're very proud of him.   Last Saturday we celebrated Loren's Great-Grandma's 100th birthday! It was a party to remember.  I loved all the decorations, it was beautiful!   We had a yummy dinner catered by Iron Gate Grill. Lovely!   There was also a raffle with fun prizes.   Allie won this cute bunny.   Dorothy is the most inspirational woman you'll ever meet.  She lost three children but her unwavering faith in the gospel helped her survive it.  She has the cutest sense of humor and is so positive and uplifting. ...
