It's the Holiday Season

  How I love this time of year! We've had a great start to December so far. Kristen invited the girls and I to go to the Reindeer Express put on by the USU Agricultural Department. It was a rainy, cold day but the kids had fun nonetheless, maybe even more so because of all the mud puddles there were to jump in. We saw donkeys, cows, goats and of course, the reindeer! The workers were so nice and told the kids how the reindeer fly and a few other tidbits. It was fun to see.    We got to see this huge camel! It was quite a sight when it stood up.   Sleigh ride in the rain. We had a blast! It was so nice of Kristen to think to invite us.   Loren and his dad drove 5 hours to see Skip Ewing perform a concert in Wyoming last Saturday. So Much to be Thankful For

  The beginning of Lydia's dancing career.    A few days ago we woke up to the first snow of the season. The girls were ECSTATIC and begged me to let them go out at 8:00 am. So I bundled them up like little eskimos and sent them out to have a snowball fight and build a snowman.  I was out with them for awhile and even managed to build a snowman, but sadly, it toppled over. Thank goodness Dad came to the rescue.   It wasn't a snowman, I'm not quite sure what it was but the girls loved it!   Never too early for Uke lessons!   Last Tuesday we went down to Jack Mason, Loren's uncle's, funeral. He was battling cancer and passed away last week. He was such an amazing man and we pray that his family will have the strength and capacity to make it through these next few hard months and years. It was good to all be together, even Sarah was there as she flew in for the Thanksgiving holiday from law school. After a beautiful service, we had ...
