Hello, August! Why must the summer always fly by? I'm definitely not ready to see it go. Thursday was Loren's 'Goodbye Lunch' at work. As per tradition, the clerk leaving must bring something to share for lunch, give a speech about what their top ten experiences were while working and bestow a gift to the judge. Who knew quitting a job could be so stressful? Loren and I wracked our brains trying to decide what to get the judge but nothing seemed right. Loren finally decided on a really nice cowboy hat since Judge Stewart is a rancher. Most clerk's give gifts in the $200-$300 range so there was a bit of pressure to get him something really meaningful. I hope the hat lives up to expectations. We stopped by Harmons to get something for Loren to take to the lunch. He saw a Jackfruit and immediately knew that's what he wanted.
