We Survived the Snowpacolypse!

  When we came back to Lexington two weeks ago it was sunny and 50 degrees. I was in heaven and somehow got the impression that spring was right around the corner. I guess I should stop my daydreams of spring at least till March because it's definitely winter here now! Storm Jonas dumped two feet of snow on us in two days. Thankfully we just got snow and not the power outages and wind that other places had.  You always know a storm is coming when all the bread and milk is wiped out at Kroger and everyone in the county is there stocking up on supplies.     Even though I'm not a huge snow fan, we sure had a fun time sledding! Lydia could have stayed out there all day. School was cancelled for Loren so it was fun to have daddy home to play too.    Immersion is finally over, thank heavens. The Most Wonderful Time of the Year

  Well I guess it's about time I catch up on all our comings and goings the past few weeks. It's been a whirlwind! We had our last Thanksgiving here in Lexington with a couple families in our ward, the Poulsen's and Smith's. We ate amazing smoked turkey, played games, went Black Friday shopping and just enjoyed being together. Loren and I left our camera in the car so we didn't get any pictures sadly. It was a great day though.    A couple days before we left for Utah, Lydia and I went with some friends to a Christmas party. There were crafts, cookie making, a pancake breakfast and a visit with Santa. It was a great way to get in the mood for Christmas.  No crying this year! But no smiling either.   Then it was the Christmas parade! I'm really going to miss this tradition when we leave.
